Kalwa and Kohaku

I’ve fallen pretty far behind on a number of things to upload. I’ve had con prep and a little personal issues that have held me down. So now I’m trying to unload it all over several uploads. Starting with this crossover between Kalwa and Kohaku from Dr. Stone. This is their second crossover, think the other one is on the Kalwa website. So far I’ve loved Dr.Stone season 3 and just kinda sad I got to wait till October for the second half.

Rodrick Kingsley

Shedding some light one of Marvel’s most underused characters, Rodrick Kingsley, the original Hobgoblin. Truly he’s one of Marvel’s best villains given how skilled he was at manipulating people in order to cover his tracks and use his Hobgoblin activities to better his bank account. Sadly once the character’s identity was revealed he got a proper send off and all future Hobgoblin stories just seem more interested in preserving the legacy of the character’s mysterious identity either by introducing a new Hobgoblin or having muliple ones, or even retconning old history. So Kingsley seems to really just get shoved into the background or played as an insignificant joke at times.

Owl House/ HP LOVEcraft Trilogy

A trilogy of artwork I did featuring the Owl house crossed over with the world of HP Lovecraft, mainly his monster god Cthulu. The first picture was done late last year and the latter two were completed this year, with the final one being done last week.

This originally started as a simple joke, but there were some comments on facebook noting it could be a real crossover that would make sense, so the latter two pieces were made much more serious and a bit more mature. The second image was done BEFORE the Owl House finale and even just before the second special. So concepts such as Stringbean and the time-skip at the end hadn’t yet aired, resulting in the creation of an original adult Luz design in a more apocalyptic world.

Luz and Amity Wedding

Luz and Amity from the Owl House officially getting married. I’ve had this idea in my head for such a long time but I just kept putting it off amongst other projects and finally decided to save it for Pride Month in June. Kinda takes me back to a much earlier art of Twilight Sparkle and my OC Tai, which was my first drawing with a Wacom Tablet.

Amber and Swishy

New artwork of Amber and Swishy eavesdropping in on a human conversation. I feel like I’ve done a little too much recently with fanart and not enough on my own characters ever since switching to the more heavy shading like art style. So I’m trying to do a bit more with my own characters to balance it out.

The Owl House in Action

I finally finished it all. So I started this series last year but got WAY OFF from finishing. Online I’ve kinda become an Owl House artist on other sites, in fact a facebook group kinda gave me a lot of exposure as an artist. When drawing the Owl House (or anything) my goal is to ultimately leave a mark on what I’m drawing. I can to add my own unique touch to everything I do so people will know that I did that and it doesn’t look like just anyone else drew it.

This series here was meant to add a more action/ anime like touch to the Owl House characters, portraying the characters in a more dynamic like fashion. Luz, Amity and Hunter were completed last year I think, but then I got off task and did other projects and other Owl House drawings. I just recently finished Vee, Willow and Gus since the rest of the month will probably be spent packing for a big move and I wanted this series finished before the series finale in early April. So here’s the WHOLE series of characters all on full display!!!!

Mandalorian!

First time in a long time since I’ve drawn a Star Wars character. I’ve been wanting to draw dear old Din Djarin aka the Mandalorian for a long time as I hold the show very close to my heart since it was the really the only thing that got me out of bed in 2020. Plus since there’s a new season coming up soon I figured now would be the time. These types of characters are really challenging for me with armor pads on the body. It requires fitting the anatomy with the metal parts which can really get hard. Remember, season 3 is in next month.
