It’s been a while since I gave an update on the sister site of Kalwa, so today I’m giving an update that new pages are officially love on the website. We are now up to page twelve which is the near halfway point of this first chapter in the Japanese story arch, so it would be a great time to check out what we got. And don’t worry, more Amber pages are coming soon, I just got to get around to working on them. As usual, click the thumbnail below to see what we got.
Been working all day on the newest page for Kalwa, unfortunately I started a little late and could only get basic inking done. But be on the look out for a new page this saturday over at the Kalwa site at:
Apologies for the long absence, had a lot of excitement this week and I’ve also been doubling on work on Kalwa and other illustrations. Anyway, we’re closing in fast to the ending of this story, only five pages remain in this story. So for right now, start your week off with a new Amber page. As usual, click the thumb below to read the newest page.
New pages have been added to Kalwa chapter 23, and I must say that I’m really having a blast with this chapter. We’re now moving into a story which will have more emphasis on action and combat, so this is a time for me to unleash my experience on reading shonen and other action based manga. Mainly I’m looking at action scenes from Naruto to design the line work for these pages and it’s really helped me get through this tough time the world is going through. I’m truly in love right now with this ability to craft scenes and motion and I just can’t stop myself working. So anyway, a shout out to everyone who reads my comics and especially to those who enjoy them. I hope you continue to read my and enjoy my work as much as I enjoy working on them. As usual, click the thumbnail below to read the newest Kalwa page entries.
Small sketch from the sketchbook of Phillip, the other security guard that Amber torments in her comic. Most notably Philip looks a bit older than he does in the final product. Originally this wasn’t even a character design or the character, this was actually a test of skill to see if I could draw a distinguishable African America character without relying on toning. However not wanting to let the character go to waste I decided to make this into Phillip for the Amber one shot and decided to make him African American.
More artwork featuring Kohaku from Dr. Stone, who is date the cutest anime girl I’ve laid eyes upon. She also gets bonus points of not just being a cut face a but a trained warrior. Anyway, I kinda just wanted to do a piece with her in her swimsuit and have an opportunity to play with the female body and practice curves. Oh and… I’m pretty excited for Dr. Stone Season 2.
So just like Amber this week, there is some updates over on our sister site Kalwa. We got not one but TWO page updates to the latest chapter of Kalwa as Kalwa and her brother head to JAPAN to receive some much needed training, but first there’s the little case of Kalwa’s mother to resolve. Click the thumbnail below and see what we’ve got this week in the latest Kalwa chapter!
And we are now here at the final page of the heist, the operation is completely finish. However we do still have an epilogue to this tasty so be on the lookout for the last six pages of this story in the coming weeks. In the meantime, see how this entire heist ends now by clicking the thumbnail.
