The heat here in AZ is really wearing me down. Mixed with the physical labor of my day job I’ve been coming home exhausted and really just feel like crashing on the bed and playing the switch. So it’s a little hard to sit down at the computer and work.
Well here’s a few more belated art works, all centered around Digimon. Yes, Digimon was my bread and butter as a child, and it’s kinda that special thing from childhood that I continue to invest in as an adult, similar to Power Rangers or Pokemon to others.
So we got my two favorite Digidestined, Tai Kamiya and Rika Nonaka putting the throttle on Digivolution. We also got one of my favorite villains Puppetmon, which is actually a remake of piece I did MANY years ago. This is kinda meant more to represent Puppetmon as he was in the original Japanese version of Adventure 1. While the American dub kinda portrayed Puppetmon as a somewhat goofy, yet still lonely, villain, the Japanese version was far darker. The original portrayal of Puppetmon was more like a sadistic psychopath with the mentality of a child. He loved playing rather dangerous games with his prey, such as a game of war with real guns, and relished in drawing out their suffering. He was also prong to temper tantrums and was more than willing to kill his own minions if they upset him, making him a somewhat more scary threat to be around.
