Halloween Draw Off 2025 Round 3

Next up on this year’s Halloween Draw Off, we come to some more typical Green Raptor Projects. Of course Green Raptor’s two comic starts Kalwa and Amber get their time in the spotlight. Kalwa’s wearing her old Maleficent outfit from a couple years ago. It was kinda inspired by the live action Maleficent movie, while I really don’t have any care whatsoever for that film, the design makes for a nice Halloween Costume.

Then we got our Owl House drawing for this year, featuring Bascha and the Crypt keeper. This drawing was inspired by a post I made on an Owl House Facebook group which involved the Crypt Keeper teaching at the Owl House school. Gave it a comment about the Crypt Keeper getting mad at Boscha for mentioning the Vault Keeper and Old Witch.

Then we got Amber the Mermaid posing as a sexy zombie. Naturally Amber was gonna do something kinda seductive this year. I didn’t really know exactly what a sexy zombie was supposed to look like. So I just googled some images, which is where I got the idea for the bulemic stomach.

More Halloween fun all month long.

Halloweed Draw Off 2025 round 2

Our next round of our Halloween 2025 draw off is here. For this round we start off with the Gill-Man from Universal Studio’s Monsters Franchise. Yes I always like to draw my Gill-Men with teeth, makes him look a lot more fierce.

Then coming up we got a very special Halloween drawing in our Kohaku POV series. This is a series I do every so often that puts the viewer in a POV position of being on a date with Kohaku from Dr. Stone. This was kinda inspired by Yotsuba’s mummy outfit from the Quintessential Quintuplets, another show featuring Felicia Angelle (Kohaku’s voice actor).

Then finally, we got Jason Vorhees rising from his lake. Going with with Friday the Thirteenth part 4 design for variety, even though I personally prefer the Freddy vs Jason design most.

More Halloween fun all month long.

Halloween Draw Off 2025 Round 1

It’s time now to start the annual Halloween Draw Off for this year. Exclusive to this website, will be early uploads, so you’ll see three drawings at once, some of which will be up before my other social media places.

First up on this year’s draw off is Caper, Wendy and and Hot Stuff, based off their designs from the comic mini series Casper and the Spectral’s. Mostly this was done as an excuse to draw Wendy in her new design, which I just loved at first sight.

Next up is the Phantom of the Opera, cloaked in darkness. This was actually based off a scene from the original novel in which the Phantom’s glowing are seen in the bedroom of Raoul, cloaked in darkness. Except in that scene the Phantom doesn’t actually appear before Raoul, just his yellow eyes, causing Raoul to shoot at him, only to strike a cat outside. The Phantom was added so we didn’t just have to draw the eyes.

Finally, our Goosebumps piece for the year, with Slappy the Dummy and Mr. Wood. Those who have read the first night of the Living Dummy book from the Goosegumps series would know that Mr. Wood was the true main villain of that book, despite Slappy being on the cover. Unlike Slappy, Mr. Wood is actually willing to take a life, which makes him a notably darker villain than Slappy.

More Halloween fun coming all month long.

Raptor Queen Chapter 1 Complete!!!

It’s been a bit of a push, but I FINALLY finished chapter one of our newest comic the Raptor Queen. These last few pages were a bit of a push, cause I had a LOT of stuff happen this past month with my personal life. But I was still able to make my end of the month deadline and now it’s onto our annual Halloween Draw Off. To read the full comic, click the image below to go to our webpage.

Kohaku Birthday Month

Yes for those of you follow fictional characters’s birthdays, it was Kohaku from Dr. Stone’s birthday which was actually on August 8th. So this month, I wound up doing three drawings of her for your (and mine) pleasure. I will confess that it’s kinda hard to find audiences for these Kohaku drawings as Dr. Stone fans remain very well hidden. But I just love drawing her so much this is really a major labor of love. Hopefully you all will enjoy these three lovely pieces.

Raptor Queen Three Page update

The Raptor Queen has had a few delays on the way due to my current day job leaving me tired in the summer heat. Trust me in AZ the summer heat is truly brutal and tiring. So mostly I’m doing the work on this on my days off. Next month is when I start working on the annual Halloween Draw Off off screen. None of them will be going up till October, but in the meantime there will still be updating this comic with a goal of finishing it by the end of next month. Meanwhile below is the fist page, click it to go to the rest of the comic.

The Raptor Queen Launches

As I promised on Facebook, the brand new comic The Raptor Queen has officially launched this month. As of now, all five pages of the prologue and three pages of the first chapter are live on the new website. This website is more of a lower budget one due to WordPress premium costs, but I’m still happy with how it looks. As I’ve mentioned this meant to be a real experiment in comic book making, with a heavy emphasis on visual storytelling rather than words. While this may not come off in the prologue (which is meant to establish character stories, it will be more prominent in the main chapters. Click the thumb below, to check out the new site.
